BE saw the light of day the fall of 2002 in an old farmhouse a few miles north of Oslo, Norway. It was the result of four people meeting to share their burning passion for rock music. After a couple of conserts i became apparent that there were conflicting intrests towards which way the band was heading. The result of this was one bandmember resigning, and BE emerging in spring 2003 as the threepiece band it is today: On bass is Magnar Røri, (28) with an allround musicaly bakground, which spans from standard-jazz to death metal, but with a lean to rock music. Magnar has for several years been activ in the musical circles in his local community, and has played in different bands. One of these were the band "Pondus", which got good reviews both nationally as well as internationally for the cd "Boy in the Bubble". On vocal and guitars we find Kim-Andrè Skarsgård (22). An elegant musician who has been doing his own projects prior to BE. One of these projects, called "Tommy", ended up in the studio, and with such a good result that starting a band like BE was the next logical step. Julian Andreassen (28) is behind the drums. Before BE Julian played in a band from Lillestrøm called "Sugardope" for five years. Ever since BE found its final form, they have been rehearsing new material, rearranging old songs and perfecting their own uniqe sound. Hopefully this will come across when BE start doing live performances shortly. Do yourself a favor and check out the musical styles of BE as soon as you can. There is a good chance you will enjoy it.
